tadpoles, frogs, and stuff...

Know what these are?

They are baby frogs! We took them (and their baby brothers and sisters - who were still tadpoles) to the pond. Andrew's class has been raising the frogs and watching them grow from eggs to frogs, but since the school year is almost over... it was time to set them free.

We had a few tears (my 3 year old wasn't quite ready to let them go) and many questions... What will they eat now? Will they make new friends?

But after releasing them and the kids saw the hundreds of tadpoles swimming around - any fears that they would be lonely or not be able to find something to eat dissapated and everyone went home happy.
