the view from my car...

Yet another snowy New England kind of day...

Here is my dear husband cleaning off my car (while I sit in it with the heat blasting).

For all of you who don't have the joy of driving in snow, here is the view from my windsheild as I drove into work this morning.

we aren't the only ones...

Mo, Noah, and I aren't the only ones have trouble making a decision (and I totally love Neil Patrick Harris)

enjoying the first flakes...

We are hunkering down and waiting for the next snowstorm to hit. We have snacks and a movie picked out. We are ready!

icicle world...

That is where we woke up today...

It may look pretty, but (with all the accidents I saw on my way to work) it wasn't so nice to be out in it. The kids enjoyed their 2 hour delay, by going to school with Andrew (his school needs an act of God to close - seriously).

I can't wait for spring... 72 days and counting...

another eye appointment...

Matt had another eye appointment this morning to check on his amblyopia. Well, some good and some not so good (a.k.a. bad) news today. His eyes are corrected as long as he wears his glasses (which he wears every waking moment). However, apparently the prescription wasn't strong enough which has caused some damage to his depth perception.

The good is - it looks like he will grow out of the amblyopia...
The bad is - the depth perception damage is permanent... aarrgghhh!!!!

The doc seems to think we have caught this early and it shouldn't affect his day-to-day life at all (but then again nothing bothers Matt - patches, cuts, bruises, nothing). Let's just hope this doesn't get any worse.

We will order the new glasses tomorow. Cute pictures of Matt in his new glasses to follow...

what I've done since Christmas...

Well, the Wii has proven to be the gift of the year in our house. My sister-in-law and her daughter came to visit today and we all played Dance, Dance Revolution. I can't remember the last time I was this sore (please note - I hid the camera while I was playing)...
