another eye appointment...

 

Matt had another eye appointment this morning to check on his amblyopia. Well, some good and some not so good (a.k.a. bad) news today. His eyes are corrected as long as he wears his glasses (which he wears every waking moment). However, apparently the prescription wasn't strong enough which has caused some damage to his depth perception.

The good is - it looks like he will grow out of the amblyopia...
The bad is - the depth perception damage is permanent... aarrgghhh!!!!

The doc seems to think we have caught this early and it shouldn't affect his day-to-day life at all (but then again nothing bothers Matt - patches, cuts, bruises, nothing). Let's just hope this doesn't get any worse.

We will order the new glasses tomorow. Cute pictures of Matt in his new glasses to follow...
